Joslyn had bites of breakfast: bran cereal and dried cranberries. For lunch she ate pizza, cauliflower, and tropical fruit.
We did a toy and book exchange so Joslyn was a very busy girl all morning. She headed right for the food toys and laid out her territory and protected that territory fiercely. (It really wasn't that bad, but I thought that sounded good.) She did a bit a screaming, but after being reminded she seemed to level off pretty well. She stayed very busy and was not interested in stopping for breakfast. (but she did.) Every once in a while she would say, "dinner time!" These are the baking toys in this set with some realistic looking cookies, cakes, and cupcakes. (Sounds like a pretty good dinner to me.) We did have to remind her that other kids could play with the food toys too. She reminded me of one of those survivalists; she was stockpiling lots of food. :)
Emily and Joslyn were playing their game of "ready, set, go." They line up at the wall and run and flop on the mattress. Emily initiated it and as soon as Joslyn heard her say the phrase she headed right over there.
Joslyn played with the dolls and again one doll was not enough. She thought she had to have three and no one else needed to have one.
She was calling Nora (our new baby) "Riley". (and "Riley Roo") The baby was fussy and Lauralea was experimenting with ways to get her to eat. Joslyn was concerned and watching intently.
Morgan started doing this and Joslyn picked right up on it; They were putting several purses on their arms and saying, "going work." (it looked to me like they were going shopping.) :)
