Joslyn ate half of her breakfast: brown rice and raisins. For lunch she ate her french bread and only a bite of; meat loaf, carrots, and dried apricots.
Several kids were gone today and Joslyn and Jadey wanted to go out and watch Lauralea fix the rice for breakfast. So they watched her for a while and then worked on some puzzles.
Joslyn and Jadey also played with the dolls and dress-up clothes. They had their "babies" wrapped in blankets and were feeding them. I asked Joslyn what she was eating and she said, "ice-cream." :) Then they had on lots of dress-up clothes and swim goggles. They were going "swimming."
Joslyn hasn't been with baby Nora as much as she was a few weeks ago. She still loves the babies, but those babies start to get a mind of their own and that's not as much fun. :) Nora is liking to grab the other kids and that's what happened when Joslyn went up to her this morning. She grabbed Joslyn's face and of course Nora's little fingernails are sharp and she also got some of Joslyn's hair. Joslyn jerked her head back and looked at Nora with an expression of "How could you?" Then she looked at me and I said, "well sweetie that's kind of what babies do." Joslyn went and found something else to play with. Something that she could control a little better. :)
She was riding the bicycle up the sidewalk as fast as her little legs could go. She told me that, "this is my motorcycle!" (I know how much you like motorcycles Melanie.)
