Joslyn ate blueberry muffin and pears for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tuna and crackers, sweet potatoes, and bite of oranges.

Joslyn had a blanket over her head and was charging around blind.  Thomas thought that looked way fun so he had to join in.  Joslyn could actually see images through it well enough that she wasn't crashing into everything.  Thomas...well, not so much.  They did that for a long time and was laughing all the time.

Joslyn kept getting these 'love surges' for Thomas for about 15 - 20 minutes.  First she was laying her head in his lap on the couch.  Then she was following him around and if she couldn't hug him she'd at least lean against him and lay her head against him.  (hey at this age they're not real subtle.)  :)  And of course she was sucking her thumb the entire time.

The first thing she did when she got here was head for her favorite toy; baby Riley.  She was in Riley's space big-time.  :)  So I got her moved back a little and Joslyn was talking to her and trying to mother her.

Lauralea got up from the couch to do something and Joslyn raced over and sat where Lauralea had been sitting.  She said, "ha ha.. I sat in Lauralea's spot!"

Joslyn ate 1/2 of her breakfast:  chex cereal and mixed fruit.  For lunch she had bites of roast beef sandwich, drank tomato soup, ate apple pieces.

Joslyn and Emily were sitting side-by-side reading books and 'discussing' them.  Then Joslyn was pointing at pictures in the book and saying, "What's that Emily?"  Hey, when you want to know something you go right to the experts.  :)

Joslyn was doing lots of 'grabbing' the other kids.  Pretty much a typical Monday morning.  It takes them a little while to get settled in and remember the rules here.  Sometimes she's doing that for a love, but usually it's just to grab and hang on.

We were asking some of the kids what they did this weekend.  (usually the answers are not related to the question.)  Joslyn came up to me and said, "I go sledding."  So we asked who took her and she said, "daddy."  Did mommy go?  "no".  So is this all true?  :)

She and Jadey were having fun visiting with baby Riley.  Then they were bringing her toys and of course Joslyn had to do some loving on her.

Joslyn ate melon and 1/2 of french bread for breakfast.  For lunch she ate turkey, crescent roll, squash, and dried mangoes.

Joslyn was yelling because someone was standing on the doll blanket she was trying to spread out on the table.  She finally got it up there, but I'm not sure if she ever figured out that she was culprit.  No one else was even close by.  :)

Well Joslyn was thrilled because Aaron was here today.  She followed him around and couldn't hardly keep her hands off of him.  It usually lasts for about 30 minutes and then she's ready to do something else.  Right after she got here she was looking at him dreamily, sucking on her thumb, and rubbing her belly.  We laughed hard about that.  :)  Very cute.  It's pretty much a one-sided relationship.  I don't think he has mutual feelings.  He's pretty much just trying to get away.  :)

We have a new baby starting on February 10th and they were here visiting this morning.  Everyone was circled around checking out the new baby and talking to the new mommy.  Everyone except Joslyn, that is.  :)  I think she was basically trying to ignore her and hoping they'd leave.

I thought the girls laying on the couch was cute so I took this picture.  Not much else to say about it; I didn't see who initiated them being snuggly.  Isn't it cute?

Joslyn ate mixed berries and 2nd's on whole wheat toast for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ham, crackers, 1/2 of bean-bacon soup, and 1/2 of kiwi.

Joslyn was so cute studying her family poster.  She said, "Let's see....where's my daddy...where's my daddy?"  She looks for a bit, then points and says, "oh! There's my daddy!  Daddy Brett's big!"  :)

She had fun playing with the musical keyboards and experimenting with lots of the buttons.  She'd find one she liked and she'd poke it over and over.  Then she was standing up and swaying back-n-forth.  There's a 'demo' button that she'd occasionally hit and it would start playing a song and she'd get a silly grin on her face.

She also played with the jungle animal toys.  They also have lots of buttons to push that make jungle animal sounds.

And she was laying on the toy shelves again.  It's one of her favorite places to lounge around.

I'm sorry this picture is kind of blurry.  The original was not that way, but after being emailed to me from Lauralea and a few other devious routes this is the end result.  :)  However, someday when she graduates the original that you get on a dvd will be clear.  Boy, sure glad I CLEARED that up.  Isn't it cute?  I got her in midair.

Joslyn ate dried apricots and bite of bagel for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, 1/2 of pasta and pea salad, ate applesauce.

When we turned the music on Joslyn started dancing and man she was really swinging her hips.  Lauralea and I got such a kick out of that.  :)

She and Thomas were visiting with baby Riley.  Riley was sitting on the couch and they were over there really interested in her.  All of our daycare kids are so gentle with the babies and we are thankful for that.

I was setting up breakfast and I heard Joslyn say, "I coming Gary!" , like I had announced that it was time for breakfast.  "Well that's nice, but it's not ready yet!"  :)

They were playing their "ready, set, go" game; lining up at the wall and running and flopping on the mattress.  Thomas and Peyton were right in there with them too.

We got out the laundry baskets and I've included a picture of Joslyn sitting in one.  They sat in them, put them over their heads, turned them over and used them as drums, filled them with toys, and pulled and pushed them.  Then Joslyn was watching Morgan and laughing as Morgan was sitting and rocking hers back-n-forth and then tipping it over.

Joslyn ate 1/2 of her breakfast: bran cereal and dried cranberries.  (Trying to help them with their fiber)  For lunch she ate pizza, cauliflower, and most of tropical fruit.

We did a toy and book exchange so there was lots of stuff of her to explore.  She played with food toys, looked at books, and put on the new dress up clothes.  It's pretty funny all the different ways she can find to put on the clothes.

We got out the fake 'fish aquarium' again and the kids love looking at it.  It's been a few months so it's basically new all over again.

Joslyn enjoyed story time reading all 'new' books and also singing time.  Lauralea started singing to Thomas and soon all the kids were gathered around her in a semi-circle.  They sang lots of songs for a long time.

I'm going to include pictures of Joslyn with curlers in her hair.  They all wanted them and were saying, "I need one, I need one,...."  Then she wanted two more and you can see those in the second picture.

Joslyn ate malt-o-meal cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef and macaroni noodles,  lettuce salad, and mixed fruit.

Joslyn got a bite on her hand.  (You can ask me about it when you pick her up.)  Anyhow, the first thing she wanted to do was show it to everyone.  She was either proud of it or trying to garner some sympathy. Then we put a cold pack on it and she let us do that for a long time.  Afterward everyone was putting a "cold cloth" on each other.

Joslyn has filed several false "I'm poopy" claims this week.  :)  It has usually been after lunch when she's waiting for me to clear the lunch table and then she can go to her nap mat.  She will not lay there very well without supervision so I just have her hang out with me until I'm done.  So I think she's saying that when she gets bored.  :)  I've had her sit on the toilet several times this week with no success, although it does appear that she's trying quite hard.

She and Thomas were crawling on the floor side-by-side, laughing, rolling around, and generally being quite silly.
