Joslyn ate french bread and 2nd's on cantaloupe for breakfast.  For lunch she ate turkey, crescent roll, bites of squash, and ate dried mangoes.

You mentioned Joslyn was having a bit of a struggle this morning and so I asked her if she was having a screaming fit this morning.  She said, "I did!"   How come?  (which usually produces a funny answer from this age group) And she said, "cause my dad has a shop!"  :)

This first picture was taken yesterday afternoon and Joslyn and Morgan were having so much fun on the teeter totter.  They must have stayed on it for almost 30 minutes.  Morgan had tried to leave once, but Joslyn said, "Sit down Morgan!"  So Morgan sat down and asked, "Why?!?"  :)

In this picture Joslyn was playing on the shelves in the back room.  Thomas, then Emily and Peyton also had to get in and give it a try.

I got out my computer and we looked to see if there were any bears eating fish on the Alaska Web Cam.  (We haven't looked during daycare for a long time)  Sure enough; there was a huge bear and the camera was zoomed in real close and we could see it eating a fish.  The magpies were flying and hopping all around it eating the scraps too.  Peyton said, "COOL!"  and Emily said, "oh, boy!"  :)

Our fold-down changing tray in the back room is kind of small for our bigger kids so I was changing some on the floor.  Well Joslyn decided it was showtime I guess. She asked Thomas, "You wanna see my poopy diaper?"  And he comes charging right over and sits down for the viewing session.  Then she said, "Does that stink Tom Tom?"  And they are both laughing like crazy.  :)

Joslyn ate mixed berries and 2nd's on whole wheat toast for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ham and crackers, half of her bean & bacon soup, and a bite of kiwi.

Yesterday Lauralea's aunt and cousin were so impressed with Joslyn's eyelashes.  Joslyn was sitting on my lap right beside them, but wasn't looking at them.  :)  But at least she was sitting close to them!  I told them that her Grandpa had once called her "Miss Maybelline."  Isn't that right?  Anyhow, Joslyn said, "Grandpa calls me precious!"  Our relatives LOVED that.  :)

Joslyn played with the food toys and the dolls of course.  She was using a large soup spoon to "feed" her baby.  Then she was wrapping Peyton's doll up for Peyton.  When she was done she said to me, "I gave it back to her Gary!!"  She seemed quite surprised and pleased with herself.  Made me laugh!

She was mildly upset (by that I mean she wasn't screaming) about something and I asked her what was wrong.  She said, "Thomas is talking to me!!"  :)

She did take one break out of the room because she wouldn't quit screaming.  When I went and got her to see if she was done being a pill she announced her return to the room; "I'm back Lauralea!!"  :)

We had moved on to the back room (after cleaning the big play area) and I was feeding Nora her bottle.  I saw that one of Nora's shoes was missing and I asked Joslyn if she would please go check in the big box and the igloo.  She left and was back with the shoe in a couple of minutes.  She loves being a helper and was so proud of herself.  I was very proud of her too.

Joslyn ate whole wheat bagel and dried apricots for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of her tilapia, ate whole wheat macaroni noodles with peas and cheese, and ate applesauce.

I have to start by telling you something that happened about two minutes ago.  Joslyn had rolled off her nap mat onto the hardwood floor, but was still sleeping.  I bent over to help her and it began raining 'jelly bellies' on her head.  I had my shirt pocket full and forgot about it when I jumped up to help her.  Lauralea was watching and we had a good laugh over that.  :)

Nothing too significant about this picture; I just thought the way they were all three sitting together was very cute.  They were playing with the food toys.  And it's a nice view of Joslyn's braids.

Joslyn was listening to us talking about the green gummy bear allergy she has and she said, "Thomas is allergic to yogurt!"  :)

Shortly after you left Joslyn stumbled and hit the corner of the big box right below her left eye.  She hit pretty hard and I immediately put a cold cloth on it.  So she has a pretty good bruise right below her eye and right above the scratch she got this morning.  Poor sweetie.  I heard her tell someone she has a bruise; or as she said it, "I got a booze!"  :)

At the lunch table she was being silly and had her fingers on both sides of her mouth stretching her mouth wide.  She said, "Jadey always do that!"  And she did.  However, I think that's the first time I've heard Joslyn mention her name since she left.  :)

Joslyn ate dried cranberries and half of her bran cereal for breakfast.  For lunch she ate cheese pizza, steamed cauliflower, and most of mixed fruit.

As soon as Nora came in the door this morning Joslyn said, "Nora Nora open the door-a."  It's from a song we have about a little girl named Nora.  And everyone loves the song because of our Nora.  I frequently hear Joslyn saying that.

Here's a picture of Joslyn entertaining Nora with some blanket tricks after Nora woke up from her nap. Of course right after this picture was taken Joslyn decided to wrap Nora in the blanket and Nora was not appreciative at all.  :)

I was feeding Nora her bottle and there was a binky sitting beside us on the arm of the chair.  It looked just like Nora's except it was Riley's.  Joslyn was standing dutifully beside it and said, "I'm saving Nora's binky!"  (So no one else could steal it.)

Thomas and Aaron had a collision on the mattress and Aaron's face hit the top of Thomas' head.  Aaron was howling and Thomas was just fine; not making a sound.  Joslyn says, "Are you ok Tom Tom?"  I found that to be quite humorous.  :)

Joslyn ate malt-o-meal cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef with spaghetti sauce, ate whole wheat macaroni noodles, lettuce salad, and a bite of mixed fruit.

Joslyn and Thomas were playing a simple little game; she was putting her hand on top of his and he would 'yelp' and then they'd laugh like it was the funniest thing they'd ever seen.  They did it over and over.  We love watching the kids enjoying each other and having fun like that.

Mia was crawling(it's actually more of a scamper than a crawl) around on the floor and Joslyn was trying to catch up and put a blanket on her.  Joslyn would straddle her and away Mia would go.  She's a girl on the move!  Joslyn seemed quite amused by it all, but was getting slightly agitated!

Joslyn played with the food toys; "This is my ice cream!"  (Actually it is a baked potato with butter on top.)  And she played with the dolls again, of course.  She had them in the box, all covered with a blanket, and well attended to.  She said, "My babies are going to sleep."  I think she was wanting me to be quiet.  :)

She and Emily were reading books together.  One book is titled "Where is Baby Natasha?"  Joslyn would ask that question and Emily would point to the baby.  :)

Joslyn ate raisin english muffin and 2nd's on blueberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate canned chicken and 2nd's on crackers, ate potato salad, and cherries.

The Cline triplets arrived and Joslyn said, "Pooper's here!!"  We laughed about that.  She worked hard after that saying, "Cooper!"

Here's a picture of Joslyn playing with one of her babies.  She was feeding it and then put it in the cowboy hat for it's bed.  Yesterday Emily said, "The hat is not a crib!!"

Joslyn and Kenzie were sitting together waiting to wash before breakfast.  Joslyn was laughing hard because Kenzie had her thumb in her mouth mimicking Joslyn.  Pretty cute.

After breakfast Joslyn was being Kenzie and Emily's "baby."  She would cry, "wa wa wa," and they'd take food to her.  Then they'd switch and they each took a turn being the baby.  Joslyn's fake crying sounded very realistic.  I told Lauralea I think maybe she's had too much practice.  :)

Joslyn went up to Nora this morning, gave her a hug, and said, "I love you in the morning and I love you in the night."  That comes from a song we sing with the kids, "Skid-a-ma-rink-a dink...."  I'm not sure of the name of it, but that's how the first line goes.  :)  It was sooo cute.

Joslyn ate peaches and 2nd's on biscuit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate baked beans, whole wheat dinner roll, steamed broccoli, and 2nd's on pineapple.

Lauralea took this picture because she liked how Joslyn had both arms wrapped around my arm.  And I think it's adorable too.  :)  I love her smile in this picture.

Joslyn is such a little mommy and especially loves mothering Nora.  A couple days ago we were outside and Nora tipped over in the grass.  I was giving her loves and Joslyn came running and was working hard cleaning all the grass off Nora's pants.  Then today she had a cloth and was scrubbing on Nora's head.  I asked her what she was doing and she said, "wash her hair!!"

She'll hear one yelp anywhere in the house and know instantly who is crying.  She heard a cry this morning coming from the room next door and said, "Riley's crying!"  And she wanted me to do something about it right now.  "Uh, Lauralea's in there."

She and Kenzie played together in the big box with dolls, doll blankets, and bottles.  They did well together (Morgan and Emily were in the back room) for quite awhile.  Then Kenzie yelled, "Move back!!"  Lauralea told her she used her words well and Joslyn said, "I listened!!"  :)  And she had listened and moved back.
